Andrew Hershfield

I fell for photography in the eighth grade. Shooting images and developing film in the darkroom gave me a sense of freedom, of being and expressing myself. I think of the camera as my third eye, letting me share how I see and perceive the world.

A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a BFA in fine arts photography, I have turned my passion into a profession: Hershography.

Most recently, I have been photographing landscapes in black and white with a Deardorff V8 FS 8X10 camera so viewers can focus on nature’s beautiful details. I also shoot with my grandfather’s Nikon N6006 film camera, a Nikon F65 film camera, and a Nikon Z6II.

I am excited to show you the world through my lens, especially bringing the outdoors in through my landscape images.
